Dolby and Sheru revisited

On May 25th, 2006, i spent 3 hours digging up the graves where we had laid beloved Sheru and Dolby to rest. The bones were still there. The skulls looked identical. We could not figure out which was which, which is I think how it should be.

On May 26th, I took the bones and earth and dropped them in the Yamuna river (behind Sarai Kale Khan). In the evening, I scattered some of the earth in 3 of the local parks in Nizamuddin East. May their earthly remains live again in another form.
This was done since we will soon be shifting from this house, where we have lived since 1964, and i did not want the graves dug up by construction people.

I thank the Lord for the immense love and devotion I received from Dolby and Sheru. To me their unselfish love qualifies them for Nirvana, it frees them from endless cycles of birth. May they be one with the Lord, may they reside in or with Him.

No later light has lightened up my heaven
No second morn has ever shone for me
All my life’s bliss from thy dear life was given-
All my life’s bliss is in the grave with thee.
